Situated neatly alongside some of indie rock’s brightest, Cincinnati’s HEARTLESS BASTARDS have a presence on stage that’s completely heartwrenching. With a pulsating backbone and fiery Americana garage rock, the quartet shook The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern in the downtown core of Toronto and openers HACIENDA and DEVIN didn’t fail to impress either, letting energetic performance after performance explode into what was a quiet night.
