When it comes to festivals, Sundays are more often than not a hazy version of day tripping. Everyone you know is either hungover or desperately trying to cope with daylight’s urge to Dementor the living, but it’s no excuse to overlook a lineup’s final act – especially at GOVERNORS BALL. Randall’s Island said “au revoir” in style last Sunday (June 7th) hosting the likes of THE BLACK KEYS, LANA DEL REY, FLYING LOTUS, A-TRAK, TAME IMPALA, and THE WAR ON DRUGS, and it turned out to be a potent hangover cure. Unless of course, you were one of the many that kept the party going during FlyLo’s set – which to be honest, sort of made us miss Bob Ross.
