Having started 2015 with a 39-date trek across North America, it only made sense for AUGUST BURNS RED to close the year off with a bang. The metalcore vets set up shop at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall (Dec. 1st) and went all in, tearing through Rescue & Restore and Found In Far Away Places while STICK TO YOUR GUNS (above) and POLYPHIA leveled with various hues of alternative. EVERY TIME I DIE also opened with a co-main and despite a late lineup change — our thoughts go out to Keith and Lindsay Buckley — EXALT’s Tyler Brand filled in on vocals and helped them tear into a 10-song set that defined camaraderie.
