Photos: Wolf Parade at Lee’s Palace

This past Wednesday night (May 25th), WOLF PARADE continued their residency in Toronto with a feverish assault that practically gutted Lee’s Palace from the inside out. ZUZU’S PETALS held their own with their opening slot, but the Montreal foursome dramatized their pretty guitar noise with a show that brushed aside the reunion talk and resurrected Expo 86, At Mount Zoomer, and Apologies To The Queen Mary (grab the 3xLP reissue here). In other words, “Oh You, Old Thing” is still a lethal piece of ear candy. Check out our stills above via Hannah Jor.

Wolf Parade’s EP 4 is out now via their website; make sure to check out their tour dates — including stops at WayHome, Osheaga + FYF Fest
