Having already played Urban Outfitters in D.C. and Atlanta, PRINCESS NOKIA recently headlined a sold-out show at Toronto’s Velvet Underground on Sunday (August 20th) and went all the way in. The 25-year-old New York City native dished out multiple internet hits (“Tomboy”, “G.O.A.T.”) and rapped her ass off — cutting through bars like Beatrix Kiddo while ultimately proving she’s “never been a regular”. If you missed her set with EBHONI or need some sort of an introduction, check out her 16-min doc with The FADER and peep our gallery above (via Maggie Elizabeth).
Princess Nokia’s 1992 Deluxe is out on Sep. 8th via Rough Trade; for concerts + more, visit EmbracePresents.com
