Touring in support of her lovely new record All American Made, MARGO PRICE headlined Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall this week (on April 18th) and underlined why she’s one of the most exciting voices in music. The Wednesday romp featured a rockin’ opener from BLACKFOOT GYPSIES but the Nashville heroine held her own — cruising through older numbers such as “Hands Of Time” and “Hurtin (On The Bottle)” while adding her own spin to covers of “Old Ways”, “Proud Mary”, and “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”. It made for a spectacle that was full of tassels and tambourine jams, and it was enough to draw attention to Price’s ability to leave you with your heart on a string.
