Thursday is usually a sign the weekend – full of rebellious antics and many regrettable mistakes – is upon us. For NORTH BY NORTHEAST, it signified a chaotic night, one that may as well go down as one of the greatest in the festival’s history. As Yonge & Dundas exploded with local talent (RUSTY, METZ) and aging punk rock revolutionaries (OFF!, DESCENDENTS), so did Toronto’s Downtown core that was practically ripped apart by the likes of TY SEGALL and FUCKED UP.
