“You never give up because you just never know what will happen”
Those words from PETER FRAMPTON couldn’t be more true. Most of the acts bracing the stages of CISCO OTTAWA BLUESFEST have seen highs, lows and the in-betweens but they’ve all found an influential spark, one that forces them to consistently write material, sing and make the hairs on our necks salute their sound. Closing in on the middle of July, live performances continued to roar across the city of Ottawa as local favourites (HEY ROSETTA, METRIC) and touring legends (M. WARD, MY MORNING JACKET) proved quitting gets you nowhere.
