When it comes to music, the best is normally saved for last but with CISCO OTTAWA BLUESFEST being a two week-long event full of some of the biggest names to ever play Canada in one event, it was hard to say if that was the case. That is, until last few days of the festival closed the curtains with a thud as acts such as DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 and CANCER BATS rattled crowds with guitar licks, drum rolls and breakdowns that were identical to the arousing energy gleaming from main stage performers BILLY TALENT and JANE’S ADDICTION.
