The Whigs are a band who aren’t ashamed of where they come from. The Georgia outfit almost play as if a country band is quietly hidden under their surface, getting closer and closer to busting out of the host musicians’ bodies every time they hit the stage. It’s this twangy influence that sets the garage rock band apart from the rest of the flock, and it’s also why they’re going to be your next indie darling once you catch them live.
