Going Live: The Fiery Furnaces

© Jeff Parsons

Who: The Fiery Furnaces

Where: The Drake Hotel

When: June 21 2010

Quirky but blatantly groovy, The Fiery Furnaces brought their indie rock spectacle to Toronto and showered a packed house with eclectic beats. The brother and sister duo from the streets of Brooklyn have entertained the genre indie pop for almost a decade and its true, they haven’t lost their touch. On a night more apt to be a hipster’s hideout, The Drake Hotel witnessed a mass of Furnace followers who were left rummaging the floors for their shoes after some serious foot-tapping.
