When the lights dim at a NOAH AND THE WHALE concert, it’s hard to anticipate what sort of joyous feeling is about to wash over you. Even though it was their second run through Toronto this year, Charlie Fink and the rest of the London indie folk troupe seemed more comfortable than they’d ever been. Their live set shimmered with a bit more confidence, making every last bit of their Last Night On Earth recordings cozy and sincere – emotions that blended perfectly inside of downtown’s Phoenix Concert Theatre and captivated an audience the entire night.
