Just a few days before the unreleased gem Lioness: Hidden Treasures hits stores, another tune from the late AMY WINEHOUSE emerges. Unlike the others we’ve heard so far, “Halftime” presents itself with Ms. Winehouse’s most likable qualities – a timid piano, a smooth blues-riddled jazz beat and that ever so smoky voice the diva unchained in 2002. The song may almost be ten years old (produced by friend Salaam Remi) but the gentle touch is mesmerizing.
