With a posh outfit and James Bond mistress-esque looks, New York singer-songwriter LANA DEL REY openly intimidated the audience at The Mod Club in Toronto before diving into her encore. “Diet Mtn Dew”, like most of her nine-track set, captivated the large crowd that assembled to analyze the mysterious 25-year-old and find out who exactly the pin-up diva is. From one view, she’s an emerging vocalist, one with the ability to use her voice and sex appeal to make you lose feeling in your knees. Up close, she’s simply breathtaking.
