A band that prides themselves in a punishing live set (they actually want to set guitars on fire at a show), Maryland outfit PLACEHOLDER have released a new song off of their upcoming 7-inch. “Mary” follows the band’s Better Days Records shot Nothing Is Pure with a gritty arsenal of angst and release. It’s not quite Hot Water Music’s Fuel For The Hate Game but the power in the chords and vocals pack an enormous knee-chopping sense of brutality.
