SIGUR ROS, PERFUME GENIUS

If one thing’s for sure, SIGUR ROS aren’t afraid to morph any venue into a magical setting. Such was the case for Toronto’s Echo Beach, a smaller outdoor amphitheater that as the night covered the city, became a cross between the setting of A Midnight Summer’s Dream and a glimpse of outer space. PERFUME GENIUS’ set was emotionally moving to say the least, but the Icelandic rock vets illuminated a side of music that not only pushed every feeling ever described to the outer core of your heart, but it made it quiver and explode with a peaceful sense of beauty.
