After freaking out galeophobics with 2010’s Astro Coast, SURFER BLOOD are back with a new LP called Pythons that’ll be out this summer. The album was produced by Gil Norton and above is its first single, “Weird Shapes” – a track frontman John Paul Pitts calls a “a left of center pop song about someone who is about to go through a manic episode”. Considering the disc’s title, we’re going to go ahead and predict that the artwork will induce nightmares.
Surfer Blood’s Pythons will be out sometime this summer via Warner Bros.
