Make no mistake, NO JOY’s Negaverse was one of 2012’s best EPs, but their live set will always remain superior. “Lunar Phobia” does beg to differ however. The Montreal-ers’ new single cruises like a fresh start but unforgivably jumps into the deep end of the band’s knack for toying with sounds, turning a once sun-kissed shoegaze style into a glow that blinds and burns.
