The Bay Area post punks introduced themselves in 2010 with Sports and after soundtracking a trailer for Dexter and confusing “Loft Music” fans (despite the correct spelling), WEEKEND are back with a new record. “Mirror” is the first single off of the upcoming Slumberland LP and although it glistens with a West Coast feel, you can’t help but trace it back to the likes of Thursday, As Cities Burn and Saosin.
