Even if you’d rather sit at home with your copies of Damaged and Slip It In, there’s a form of punk rock breeding in Vancouver that demands your attention. WHITE LUNG’s headlining jaunt at the Hard Luck Bar on Monday gave a solid crowd (packed with dudes) 100-plus reasons to tune in. Between hair-ripping rhythms, vox Mish Way’s vicious demeanour, and more-than-impressive sets from TEENANGER and TV FREAKS, the gig wouldn’t stop drooling with the kind of intensity that could put down a human. Some writers exagerrate, but in this case, we’re not kidding.
