For years, THE NATIONAL have made alternative rock commit to being mature. It rarely suffices to be mediocre or stereotypical and much of the same could be said for the band’s latest single “Sea Of Love”. It’s a caricature of how love’s supposed to be a virtue but at the same time, the Sophia Peer-directorial features a friend that contradicts the whole feeling-older-and-torn vibe. Regardless, it boxes everything you love about the quintet so hit play above.
