In director Tom Scharpling’s clip for “KV Crimes”, KURT VILE is the almighty golden pick-giver of his hometown. If his makeshift crown and throne weren’t enough, the video gives some pretty good insight into what it would be like if the 33-year-old singer-songwriter was royalty in his parts. As expected, he’s pretty chill (and a big fan of hoagies) which makes it even better that the city of Philadelphia has dubbed August 28th “Kurt Vile Day”. All hail King Kurt.
