For the OSHEAGA MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL, the fest experience conquered all. Eight year jitters, on-stage diva moments, left field press issues, and the nine-to-five grind placed its start in a chokehold but Friday ramped things up and pulled off a reversal. Montreal’s too hip to dislike and it’s basically the perfect weekend getaway for anyone who loves crowd-surfing and throwing down some tonsil hockey during a BEACH HOUSE song. Along with other out-of-provincers, we headed to Parc Jean-Drapeau for local grub, under a tree boozing, and a mix of main acts and smaller attractions that know how to riot.
