When we first introduced the PEOPLE AND THINGS feature, we had every intent to to present a differ POV on the concerts we stumble upon, and considering its unhinged feel, documenting Riot Fest Toronto just made sense. With the Saturday lineup as our target, we made plans to meet up with a couple bands: midwest pop punk dudes REAL FRIENDS, local hardcore heroes STRUCTURES and Buffalo’s own EVERY TIME I DIE. What followed was a series of candids and a stage level view of high jumps, crutches, unique backdrops, and groups that put in work.
