Clocking in at almost four minutes, the BLACK LIPS’ “Boys In The Wood” is a whiskey-fused blast of twang that was born for sing-a-longs. Their video for the single on the other hand is a different story. It’s directed by Matt Swinsky and the ATL Twins, basically NSFW, and full of blood, sex, masks, and drugs. Like a lot of drugs. Like enough to have your grandmother scolding you for your Internet habits until she grabs a brew and starts humming the tune herself.
The Black Lips’ Underneath The Rainbow is set to hit stores everywhere on March 18th via Vice Records
