Brooklyn’s sort of had an intense stranglehold on indie-pop lately but you have to give props to the UK. London’s NIGHT FLOWERS are big on vintage tones and it’s why their new recording “Embers” rocks with bits and pieces of Cheap Trick’s “Surrender” while leaving a hazy kiss with Greg and Hester Ullyart’s boy/girl vocals. The song will make you miss Guitar Hero but it’s only a matter of time until the Brits steal the spotlight on a TV rom-com. Listen below.
