Make no mistake: London’s WOLF ALICE are onto something. The quartet’s North American tour run made its way to Toronto’s Drake Hotel after back-to-back shows in Brooklyn, NY, and they snapped off a colossal set that rummaged through their Blush and Creature Songs EPs. There are a lot of bands that claim they’re “loud”, but Ellie Rowsell (vox/guitar), Joff Oddie (guitar), Theo Ellis (bassist), and Joel Arney (drums) just go with it as their closing one-two (“Giant Peach”, “Moaning Lisa Smile”) shook the entire venue.
