New Zealand’s BROODS have a bright future ahead of them and the proof is in the wax. Their debut full-length, Evergreen, illuminated a studious approach to Idolator electro pop, but it also noted how talented Georgia and Caleb Nott are when it comes to writing songs that stick to you for days rather than minutes. The duo’s recent visit to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall (March 20th) was a pretty clear example of that as they thrived on the larger stage and stunned with a 17-song set (see “Bridges”, “Killing You”, “Never Gonna Change”). Broods’ debut album Evergreen is available in stores and on iTunes and Spotify via Universal/Polydor Records
