This past weekend, Philly’s MODERN BASEBALL made their way over to Ottawa’s Ritual Nightclub (December 4th) for a sweaty, basement-ish celebration of underrated punk rock. The latter is only somewhat true as the foursome’s new EP is one of the year’s best releases, but nonetheless Brendan Lukens and company threw their hearts on their sleeves and nearly tore the whole place down with a tribute to You’re Gonna Miss It All. PUP, TINY MOVING PARTS, and NY’s JEFF ROSENSTOCK created their own highlight reels with riffs and an anything goes edition of “pupaoke”, and photographer Marie Rupolo was there to snag some proof.
