South By Southwest can be a bit overwhelming if you’re unprepared, but in reality, it’s a festival that is dedicated to countering your anxiety with a massive index of shows. It’s also one of the few events that allows you to binge on snacks from local eateries — such as Juice Austin, La Barbecue, and Gelateria Gemelli — and this year, it’s all about SXSW Music’s unofficial affairs. The FADER Fort, Spotify House, The Hype Hotel, and House Of Vans are all set to return and that excludes other mid-day thrills from Pitchfork, Stereogum, SPIN, and Topshelf Records.
