Photos: Chairlift at Lee’s Palace

Touring in support of one of the year’s best LPs, Brooklyn’s CHAIRLIFT recently made their way over the border to headline Toronto’s Lee’s Palace (April 5th). The Tuesday nightcap was their first gig in the city in almost three years, but Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly went for broke — upping the intimacy with a full band while launching into explicit odes to love (“Crying In Public”) and a number of glossy pop standards (“Show U Off”, “Polymorphing”). Our photographer Hannah Jor was in attendance and her live stills can be found in the photo gallery that’s above.

Chairlift’s new record Moth is out now on Sony/Columbia; for a list of similar shows, make sure to visit CollectiveConcerts.com
