Continuing their dominance of 2016, ANDERSON .PAAK and The Free Nationals headlined Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre on Friday (July 22nd) and nearly set the roof on fire. The California upstart funked his way through his Malibu and Venice albums — kicking out “Put Me Thru”, “The Waters”, “Glowed Up”, and “The Season/Carry Me” with the sort of tenacity you’d expect from a Jackson or a Brown.
