Photos: Warpaint at Danforth Music Hall

Need a break from reality? Dive into WARPAINT’s Heads Up. The L.A. foursome’s new record is a groovy fusion of pop and textured post-rock, and as they showed during their gig at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall (October 3rd), their chemistry is starting to rival the rapport that’s on Violator and In Rainbows. Their set was punched up with “Whiteout”, “Disco//Very”, “Love Is To Die”, and a quick nod to Exquisite Corpse, and it never really let up as FACIAL had kicked the night off with their own rager (see “White Veil”).
