Four words: serene and utterly mesmerizing. It can be taxing to describe an experience that suddenly takes your breath away but those exact words suit BONOBO’s recent showing at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall (April 24th). Simon Green and company re-illustrated Migration and The North Borders, and fellow UK singer SZJERDENE helped bring their intricacies to life — assisting on vocal tracks (“Surface”, “No Reason”) while creating space for Green to connect with the higher powers that be on “Kerala” and “Know You”.
