This past Thursday (Sep. 14th), KALI UCHIS brought her tropically-tinged cut of pop to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall and wasted no time in setting the whole place on fire. The Colombian songbird rifled through an extensive set that covered everything from “Nuestro Planeta” to “See You Again”, but her ability to switch tempos (“Loner”, “Tyrant”) and hit you with a candied wave of intimacy shows that she’s gunning for every crevice of your heart.
