Earlier this week (October 17th), alt pop outfit PVRIS headlined Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall and layered their entire performance with a numbing sense of intimacy. Lynn Gunn and co. powered up both albums — going through tracks such as “Heaven”, “Winter”, “Fire”, and “White Noise” — and every intricate detail was bumped up to 11, underlining the band’s innate gift for assembling songs that stun, comfort, and heal.
