Photos: Wavves, Joyce Manor at The Danforth

There are tours and then there are really fucking good tours. In this particular case, WAVVES’ pre-winter run with JOYCE MANOR and CULTURE ABUSE falls into the latter category as their gig at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall (November 13th) was a joyous mosh pit for kids that enjoy riffs. The trifecta clotheslined their way through favourites such as “So Busted”, “Last You Heard Of Me”, and “Million Enemies”, and called attention to how Peach, Cody, and Afraid Of Heights are still fully capable of going Ric Flair on that ass.
