WHY YOU’LL LOVE THEM: Call it “chicks & fuzz”, the contaminating pop spewed by Candy Hearts is practically Kelly Kapowski meets Blink-182’s Dude Ranch. The New Yorkers toss sunshine hooks out the window, turn the volume up and rekindle every aspect of pop punk you adored as a teen with melodies carved out of paper fortune tellers and heartsick crushes.
SOUNDS LIKE: Amazing high school memories splashed in fuzz.

When is this band getting signed????
They write their own songs. These are catchy, happy sounding songs that nonetheless have a depth of character in the situations and people that are described, They can rock and have an edge, like early punk. Yet they can also be too cute for words without being whimpy.
Some teen movie is just waiting for a few of these songs to be included. One Tree Hill – where are you??? This material is far better than almost anything in the soundtrack to your show.
