Long admission lines, coinciding set times, Mother Nature; forget it all. Why? Most of those who attended CISCO OTTAWA BLUESFEST already have. The annual festival in the nation’s capital boasted quite the lineup this year and even with being spread over the course of two weeks, it didn’t disappoint, drawing almost 30,000 people to gigs. Injecting a drop of adrenaline into listeners over the first few days were acts such as RISE AGAINST, TEGAN AND SARA, CAGE THE ELEPHANT and THE BLACK KEYS who didn’t let a thunderstorm derail a profound live set.
