CHRIS BROWN, T-PAIN
MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE, TORONTO / SEPT. 12
It had been six long years (depending if you’re a fan) since recording artist CHRIS BROWN was last in Toronto and with that, not many audience members at the city’s own Molson Amphitheatre knew what to expect. With out-of-studio drama and a dip in talent that witnessed a rebirth due to electronic bleeps and a manhandling hook (“Look At Me Now”), the R&B singer blew the top off his F.A.M.E. tour thanks to his expertise as a performer, displaying states used to create a pop spectacle. Meaning, the only thing flashier than Brown himself were the lights (or T-Pain).
