CONTEST: Outside Music Prize Pack

12 records. One winner. Too much great music for the car.

One of the outstanding traits of 2011 is the fact youth ruled music. Going hand-in-hand with independent record labels, emerging artists stole our hearts, were blasted out of TVs and even made parties rock that much harder. Since both BLARE and Canadian record label Outside Music dig young artists, we’re giving away 12 studio albums from this year to one avid music fan. The records involved? Some names include Bright Eyes, MellowHype, Tennis, Washed Out, Smith Westerns, Bass Drum Of Death, Mogwai, Dum Dum Girls and more.

Want to keep all of the albums yourself?
Simply retweet our contest post on Twitter.

Or follow us and/or Outside Music on there too.

(Contest ends December 13th)

neeeeeed to win this prize pack.

indie song of the year is Amos The Transparent’s – “Says The Spark” for properly capturing the spirit of being up against all odds and marrying that with a melody so upbeat and infectious, it could be on Yo! Gabba Gabba. All while maintaining a sound and attitude absolutely suited for today’s cred-obsessed music crowd.
