Lost in the kerfuffle that was 2011, San Francisco’s TY SEGALL resurfaced the catchy voice of garage rock and made it exceptionally cool again. In the opening days of the new year, the vocalist/guitarist rocked out at Engine Works in his local stomping grounds and as the live clip of the two-year-old track “Caesar” showed below, he melted pretty much everyone’s face (things to watch: solo shred and Emily Rose Epstein absolutely killing it on the kit).
