SMITH WESTERNS, BLEACHED, PORCELAIN RAFT
THE HORSESHOE TAVERN, TORONTO / JAN. 27TH
“It smells like sweat and rock and roll”. It comes as no surprise the former statement is true thanks to the grip it and rip it indie rock tour that invaded The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto last Friday night. At the astonishingly awesome sold-out gig, SMITH WESTERNS, BLEACHED and PORCELAIN RAFT brought their own styles from Chicago, Los Angeles and London to tie three sets together to sonically discharge one raucous performance that channeled the poise and rawness that makes rock music. If they were there, David Bowie and T. Rex would be proud.
