Go back to their debut I Had The Blues… and it would be hard to call BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB rock stars. Now, they just are. Returning to their second home, the London indie rockers gave the Phoenix Concert Theatre’s atmosphere a stadium-like vibe that reiterated throughout their 15-song set, with frenzied guitar slam-downs and a responsive audience that had you questioning whether Bono was in the house. Over the course of three albums, the Crouch End boys have been trying to break out from the crowd, and on this night, they proved they’ve done just that.
