Through word of mouth and a divine self-titled debut, Seattle folk rockers THE HEAD AND THE HEART have torn apart the intricacies of life to provide listeners with radiant recordings. A few hours before their sold-out show at The Opera House in Toronto, we met with the group for an acoustic seance where they performed unique renditions of the tracks “Honey Come Home” and “Down In The Valley” in the subtle winter air. It’s a rare thing to say but the songs were as beautiful as they were sonically heartbreaking and on a level that’s almost impossible to imitate.
