After leaving the Red Hot Chili Peppers a few years back, not much has been known about JOHN FRUSCIANTE and what he’s up to. The Mars Volta’s Omar Rodriguez-Lopez told us in March that the guitarist “is in a different place right now” and whatever state that may be, we support it because of what he’s recently uncloaked. The New York experimentalist just unveiled a new offering – titled “Glowe” – from his upcoming extended play Letur-Lefr and the minute-long blaze of funked-out psychadelia is what the French would call “parfait”. Letur-Lefr is out July 27th while the new record PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone drops in September.
