THE SWELLERS, LIVING WITH LIONS, DAYTRADER, MAJOR LEAGUE
SNEAKY DEE’S, TORONTO / JULY 13th
While other gigs attacked the third Friday the 13th of the year on some of Toronto’s main stages, the crowd at Sneaky Dee’s watched American punk meet its Canadian counterpart. To be quite honest, each band sort of destroyed the downtown locale as sing-alongs and knifing rhythms erupted with THE SWELLERS, LIVING WITH LIONS, DAYTRADER and MAJOR LEAGUE tearing a page out of the late ’90s. Near flawless performances never missed a step and soaked up the immense rushes of adrenaline and pure comradery (aka genuine bro-outs).
