There’s metal, and then there’s a lot of metal. And then there’s a concert tour like ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL which slashes the tires of contemporary alternative and stuffs your conscious full of bands that don’t claim to be heavy but are actually “heavy”. In its fifth year, Mayhem Festival touched down at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan where various acts such as SLAYER, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and I, THE BREATHER paid tribute to their influences, inducing a lot of ear scars that are actually invigorating but stay with you due to being caused by infectious music.
