GOING LIVE: Osheaga 2012 (Day Two)

In Canada, OSHEAGA is a huge festival but it uses its expansive nature as its greatest strength. Though last year tipped the scale with record-setting numbers, the festival sold-out its entire weekend in Montreal with fans of all ages flocking to Parc Jean-Drapeau to take in the heat and the music coming through the speakers. Saturday especially ramped up the intensity as powerful sets from THE BLACK LIPS, YOUNG THE GIANT and FEIST set off a fistful of momentum that A$AP ROCKY kicked throughout his performance and locals ADVENTURE CLUB used to feed the beast known as EDM. And then there was SNOOP DOGG. He was close to 45 minutes late but as soon the track “I Wanna Rock” clicked on and jumped into “P.I.M.P.” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot”, the weekend took flight.
