GUTTERMOUTH, PERMANENT BASTARDS

Though they haven’t released an album since 2006’s Shave The Planet, California’s GUTTERMOUTH still know how to stir up a crowd with a setlist that’ll provoke kids to live in their own moment. Joined by Woodbridge punks PERMANENT BASTARDS, Mark Adkins and the other five-piece thrived on The Horseshoe Tavern’s space and flailed, kicked and powered through staple after staple. Their arrival was a bit tardy as far as alternative goes, but when a band can take their dye of punk rock and give birth to a righteous party, complaining just seems “bro-ish”.
